How counselling can help ?

People choose therapy at particular times in their life to attend to emotional distress that often relates to personal relationships or professional difficulty. They want to manage change or crisis points in a healthy way. The aim is to get well and be more fulfilled, and find a greater meaning in life and work. At such times support and guidance of the experienced professional gives opportunity to attend to emotional difficulty, and explore dilemmas and choices.

Decision to see a professional psychotherapist and counsellor is about self care and responsibility for well- being.

Areas I work with:

anxiety and panic attacks
depression and feeling emotionally low
stress and anxiety
low self esteem
lack of confidence
relationship difficulty / family problems
career and work related issues and burnt out
life changes and transition such as separation, divorce, redundancy
loss of meaning and direction in life
bereavement and grief
isolation and loneliness

Therapy offers safe, respectful, and non judgemental space to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and relationship with others. The aim is to find a way forward and create a positive change.
